Download the Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent. Navigate to the download folder and double click on the GlobalProtect.pkg to install 5. When the installer opens click continue 6. Specify the destination location and click continue. Ensure that GlobalProtect. If you’re using Safari, Firefox, or Google Chrome, you can begin the install by double clicking GlobalProtect.pkg in your downloads folder. The installer will open. Click “Continue” Make sure the GlobalProtect check box is checked and click “Continue” On the next window, click install. You will be asked to authenticate.

Download the Palo Alto (GlobalProtect) agent for Linux from the right-side column above. Download the GlobalProtect Installer for macOS. Open the GlobalProtect.pkg file and run the GlobalProtect Installer. Click the Apple menu and select System Preferences. Click Security & Privacy and open the General Tab.
UDIT has been working since the onset of the spread of COVID-19 to enhance online services for students, faculty and staff. As of March 23rd, a new VPN solution is available for UDel users. Palo Alto GlobalProtect is a virtual private network (VPN) solution that enables encrypted access to protected resources. This solution will allow staff access to campus resources that require use of University IP addresses or UD VPN IP addresses, such as restricted Webforms, systems on private networks, and other applications.
Important: This solution will not enable access to protected resources and desktops that require static VPN IP addresses or VPN groups when using AnyConnect VPN. Please contact your IT-Pro to determine whether your resources are protected by existing campus network access policies.

This document describes how to download and install the WiscVPN GlobalProtect VPN client on a Mac computer. GlobalProtect supports Mac 32/64 bit Operating Systems.
Note: The newest client (5.1) is not compatible with OS X 10.10 or earlier. Please see Where Can I Download and Install the GlobalProtect App? for more information.

Installing the GlobalProtect Client (Mac)
- Open the downloaded file. Proceed through the installation process, you will need to click continue, then continue, then install.
- Some users will be prompted with a message saying 'System Extension Blocked.' In this case, select Open Security Preferences then select Allow in the following window.
- If you are prompted for your password, type it in. It will look like the image below once you have typed in your password. Then select install software.
